LINCOLN CITY, Ore. – Senator Dick Anderson (R-Lincoln City) successfully
concluded Phase 2 of his district-wide tour, which featured a series of town halls along the central and southern Oregon Coast. The tour continued his commitment to transparency, accessibility, and proactive representation, which offered constituents the opportunity to engage directly with Senator Anderson and discuss pressing local issues.
Accompanied by Representative Boomer Wright (R-Reedsport) at select events, Senator Anderson hosted multiple town halls in the following communities: Yachats, Florence, Reedsport, Charleston, Lakeside, and Coos Bay. During these events, he engaged with hundreds of residents, addressing diverse concerns including economic development, education, child care, housing, health care, and public safety. Attendees appreciated the open dialogue and his commitment to listening to their needs and advocating for their interests in Salem.
Senator Anderson stated, “These town halls are a vital part of my role as your Senator. Hearing directly from you allows me to better serve our communities and ensure that our voices are heard in the legislature.”
The tour will continue with additional town halls scheduled on August 3rd in Philomath, Monroe, and Cheshire. Specific location details will be announced soon.
