LINCOLN CITY, Ore. – Senator Dick Anderson (R-Lincoln City) successfully
concluded the northern portion of his district-wide tour, where he connected with
constituents, discussed pressing local issues, and shared legislative updates. The tour reaffirmed Senator Anderson’s commitment to transparency, accessibility, and proactive representation.
Throughout the tour, Senator Anderson hosted a series of town halls and meet-and-greets across several communities, including Depoe Bay, Lincoln City, Otis, Newport, Waldport, Toledo, and Siletz. Each event provided an invaluable opportunity for residents to voice their concerns and engage directly with their state senator.
Senator Anderson also toured the Philomath rodeo grandstands on July 13th, where he helped secure $1.7 million in funding for expansion. These enhancements are expected to contribute significantly to the economic development of the community by expanding their facilities and increasing capacity to host events.
Senator Anderson expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and active participation from community members. “Engaging directly with constituents is essential for effective representation,” said Senator Anderson. “I am committed to bringing their voices to Salem and addressing the issues that matter most to them.”
The tour will continue later this month with additional dates in Coos, Benton, and Lane counties from July 23rd-25th and July 31st-August 3rd. Specific location details will be announced soon.
